![]() ![]() And Twista’s lyrics are dope compared to the rest: Not only do Yungbuck’s lyrics suck, so does everything about him. The first song, the title track, illustrates both of thse faults. One, Twista’s mic skills glaze over the fact that he doesn’t have anything new and interesting to say, and he doesn’t have the lyrical ability to make common subjects extremely dopeTwo, the album is saturated with guest spots by wack rappers. This album basically has two real faults. So while Twista may not delve into the most diverse or complex subject matter, he proves the phrase “it’s not just what you say but how you say it” to be true. Twista's Windy City style has transcended his locale, spreading from coast to coast on the strength of three albums in three years. His swiftly spit flows revel in gangsta imagery, with colorful hustler episodes laid over smooth, keyboard-driven production. But it was his collaboration with Do or Die on their 1996 single "Po Pimp" that earned him the attention and respect of pop audiences. Chi-town representative Twista has been laying down Midwest mobsta rap since 1991 when he unleashed "Runnin' Off at Da Mouth." The rapper's quick-fire flow on that song earned him a spot in the Guinness World Records as the world's fastest rapper. ![]()
